Saint Barbara's church DIEST / BELGIUM description:

This church with one aisle was built with iron sanstone holding limonite between 1656-1667, and is an example of the baroque style. It used to be the property of the Augustinen, of whom the gabel contents the 'haertform' emblem.

The baroque main altar was made in 1655 by Pieter Verbruggen for the abbaye of Averbode. They sold it in 1681 to the Augustijner of Diest.

The side altar are dated from the second half of the 17th century.
