City Gate - Gate of the Towers Domme / FRANCE description:

The Gate of the Towers is a city gate that was built at the end of the 13th century under orders of Philips III the Bold.

Interesting is that this gate also held a prison, which between 1307 and 1318 was used to keep knights of the forbidden Templiers order. They made drawings, mainly crosses, sculptured in the wall, as some Medieval graffiti.
