Saint Mary the Virgin Church Great Milton / United Kingdom description:

The origin of this church goes back to the 11th century, shortly after the conquest by the Normans. The chooir and central aisle in fact go back to that period. However, during the 13th century fire ate the church, and during the 14th century side aisles were added and the choir was enlarged. No wonder that the building make a very Gothic impression, with lancet windows....
