Parish Church of Margareth Lothbury LONDON / United Kingdom description:The history of this Margareth Lothbury Parish church goes back the the 12th
century. However, the church got destroyed during the large city fire of 1666. A new
Baroque church was then built between 1686 and 1690 under Sir Christopher
Wren.
Inside; one finds a lot of wood work in part coming from other Wren
churches. The organ was made in 1801 by George Pike England. In 1984, it was
restaurated. It still has almost all of it's original pipes and is still in the original
organ case.
