The Orion is a barge which is also used as Bed and Breakfast.

The Orion was launched on May 4, 1905 in Veendam on the shipyard Drent and run until 1935 with the Latin name 'Ubi beni ibi patria '(' where it goes me well, as my homeland'). Later, the Orion names: 'RAN', 'Rival', 'Patria' in the period 1935 to 1983 and finally in 1983 the present name 'Orion'.
