Building Soest / Germany description:

This timber framing gentleman's house is quite oblique. This is an clear example of the strength of these timber framing constructions: the wood has both power against pushing as pulling power. Hence, the building won't easily collapse. Note also the lifting beam at the bottom of the wolfed roof
