Great Mosque BRUSSELS-CITY in BRUSSELS / BELGIUM description:

In 1897 the 'Panorama of Caïro' was one of the most important attractions of the worldexhibition of Brussels. The building teterriorated quickly and in 1906 it became the sarcastic name of 'scandalous wart'. In 1978 it was resored and became the principal mosque of Brussels.
