Beernaerts' House GHENT / BELGIUM description:

This gentlemen's house was built in 1904 according to J.G. Semeij's plans in Flemish neorenaissancestijl.

This building honors the 18th century sculptor Laurent Delveaux of Ghent. His bust is visible in the medaillon under the triangular fronton crowning the gable.

The symmetrical gevel in calcareous sandstone has a middle ressault.

As indication for the neorenaissance, we indicate candelabrums, frontons, blocked engaged columns, shellwork, volutes and balusters.

The interior would still contain many original elements...
