Augubio Palace Split in SPLIT / CROATIA description:This Augubio palace (Gentleman's house) is called a late
gothic building. Nowadays (2015) it is a hotel.
This palace was built during the 2nd half of the 15th century by a rich salesman
Giovanni Battista de Gubbio - later promoted to nobility.
In fact, some parts of the buuilding are elder, and are Rmanesque.
This is prooven by a zijn. Dat blijkt fresco of a peacock on the first
floor. Also during the baroque quite some changes were done.
