The origin of this castle lies in the 13th century.
1618 first owner R. Peyraguey. 1742 baron P. de Richard 2nd owner, beheaded in 1794
(French Revolution). Lafaurie, 3rd owner, gives fame and immage to the wines of
Peyraguey. In 1865, the domain is bought by Count Duchatel. In 1917 the castle is owned
by D. Cordier. In 1984 the Suez Group becomes owner. Since 2014 S. Denz'
