Our Lady Assomption church Domme / FRANCE description:

The Our Lady Assomption church was built during the 17th century, with stones from the ruins of the previous church that was destroyed during the Religion Wars by Geoffroy of Vivans's troups.

Originally, there was a graveyard around the church, but this was closed during the 18th century.

The heavy tunnel vaults give the feeling the church is elder.

Note the swallow nests (animals) in the church porch.
