Marcevol Abbeye Arboussols / FRANCE description:

After Carmen Jepcea-Stetco (translated by us): 'Abbey Prieuré de Marcevol. The church in romanesque style, situated on 560 m height on a platform on the valley of the Tête river, was built during the 12th century by the monks of Saint Sepulcre, a monastique order linked to the conqueste by the Holy Placed (crucades).

In 1428, the church got dammaged by an earth quake, and repared by the end of the 15th century.'
