The Saint-Eloi's church is a monument in Gothic
style, built during the 12th century in Bordeaux.
35 m long, 12m height in the nave which does not follow a streight
line, 5 m heigh in the side aisles. Neo-gothic
altars. During the 15th century the church was enlarged on the right side,
while the left side remained unchanged. During the 14th and the 15th century, the
abse, some vaults, the clock tower were
rebuilt. The current facade in neo-gothic style dates from 1828.
The Saint Eloi's church was the first Gothic church in Bordeaux.
