Our Ladies' Church Bordeaux / FRANCE description:Carmen: 'Our Ladies' church - Bordeaux
This church is situated in the center of Bordeaux, and since 1908 it
is classified as Historic Monument. The Our Ladies'church is built at the end of the
17th century in baroque style. It is inspired by the Jesus church in
Rome.
outside: a lot of decoration. 4 statues on each side of the main
porch. Pillars, pilasters. Next to the
central nave volutes and
flame vases on the tom.
Interior: wide nave of 60 metres length, barrel vault,
windows, balconies, marble high altar,
paintings.
The organs: first organ made in 1707, second in 1785,
classified since 1971. '
