C.S.: 'Large Theater of Bordeaux
Built in 1773-1780. The Large Theatre was ordered by the marshal de Richelieu.

12 pillars in front of the facade crowned by 12 statues -9 muses, 3 goddesses- porticos with arches from 1 side to the other of the facade.

Inside- staircases, 2 statues of the Comedy and the Tragedy, decorated cupola, ceiling frescos, chandeliers, balconies.

In 1899, the Large Theater was classified as Historic Monument.
