Saint Spas Church - Jesus' Ascension church Nessebar / Bulgaria description:

This small single-aisled church under wide pavilion roof, dedicated to Our Lord Jesus' ascension, dates from 1609.

Inside, you find ld, valuable wall paintings representing Jesus and Our Lady.

Byzantine princess Matthaisa Cantacuzena Palaiologina's grave stone was preserved in the floor for many years.
