Our LadyAssumption Cathedral - Assumption of the Virgin Cathedral Satu Mare / Romania description:This is the Orthodoxe Our Lay Assumption or Holy Virgin Assumption
cathedral of Satu Mare. It was built in 1932-1937 in
New Bysantin style according to G. P. Liteanu's plans.
It's a centralized pattern building with a high portico
with 5 arches. In the middle one finds a high dome, and on the 4 corners a
lower tower also closed with a dome-shaped roof.
Inside, painting works by the brothers Eugen and Eremia Profeta
The choir is quite famous, and exists for over 75 years.
