Saint Peter & Paul's church (Biserica Sf. Apostoli Petru si Pavel Tautii De Sus in Baia Sprie / Romania description:This Saint-Peter and Paul's church dates from 1779, and belongs to the
Greek-Catholic (former Romanian Orthdoxe) church. It's a stone church building, with on
top of the 38 m high tower a wooden platform with the bell
chair, and above that a zinc spire
with on the corners a lower spire.
The enclosing wall dates from 1806.
Inside, next to 20th century art, there are paintings by
Stephen Zugravu from Fisesti (1810), Basil Deacu from Focsani (1858) and Stiebert
(1923).
