Local variant of the Brabantion gothic applied arround the year 1400 near the city of Leuven (at the Demer river). The locally used iron sandstone did not allow detailed carving of the capitals. This resulted in pier arches that start from round columns without capitals (e.g. the churches of Aarschot, Diest and Geel).
